The FutureTouch Solution

Shurgard Self Storage contracted with FutureTouch to develop and deploy a self-service ATM-like system that would allow new customers to determine what storage unit is best suited to their needs and to execute a lease for the unit of their choosing. The kiosks operate 24 hours, 7 days per week giving customer access for storage rentals and customer service during hours when the facilities have been traditionally closed. Existing customers are also able to switch to a new storage unit, make a monthly rental payment and communicate with the sales center. The kiosks connect with the Shurgard back office system that maintains customer data and manages the inventory of storage spaces nationwide.
